American Mortgage Acceptance Company, a REIT, will pay a special dividend of $1.40 on January 15 to holders as of Tuesday, November 28. The purpose of the special dividend is to distribute the gain from the sale of the company’s interest in ARCap Investors LLC, and income from a special distribution received from ARCap. This is a nice 8% one-time yield, but be careful with the low liquidity of this stock.
