BKE ex-dividend on 12/20 (6%, special)
Buckle Inc. will pay a special dividend of $3.00 on January 2 to holders as of Wednesday, December 20. That’s 6% of the share price of $50. BKE will also do a 3:2 stock split payable in the form of a stock dividend to shareholders as of December 31, 2007. Finally, there will be a 20 cents per share quarterly dividend to shareholders as of January 11, 2007, and payable on January 29, 2007. With the impact of the stock split, this is in effect a 50 percent increase in the Company’s regular quarterly dividend rate.
