Southern Copper will pay a regular quarterly dividend of $1.38 on December 7 to holders as of Tuesday, November 14. That’s 2.6% of the share price of $52.100, or a 11% annual yield. PCU pays constently high yield dividends, but remember Copper prices tend to be highly cyclical. Stock prices for major copper producers retreated sharply early in the quarter following May’s peak copper prices, and PCU has yet to follow suite.
