RAIT Investment Trust, a commercial REIT, will pay a regular dividend of $0.72 on October 6 to holders as of Monday, September 25. That’s 2.5% of the share price of $28.980, or a 10% annual yield. A portion of the third quarter cash dividend, $0.10 per common share, represents a special capital gain distribution relating to previously disclosed sales of consolidated real estate interests. RAIT provides mostly lending and preferred equity investments to property owners, but in Q2 20pct of its revenue came from direct real-estate investment. RAIT recently merged with Taberna Realty Finance Trust, another Philadelphia-based real estate investment trust.
