SYNT ex-dividend on 8/29 (6%, special)

Syntel, an IT service firm, will pay a special dividend of $1.25 on September 15 to holders as of Tuesday, August 29. That’s 5.6% of the current share price. Syntel received good press coverage recently for outsourcing nearly all its work to its Silicon Valley-style subsidiary in India. Strong Q2 results and guidance increase 2 quarters in a raw didn’t hurt either.

    Sam,

    This is the only site that reports the Ex dividend for SYNT on the 29th. Otherwise the all mention the 31st of this month.
    Just for your info.

    Hi, ex-div is 8/29 as posted.

    BTW, AAUK may be planning a spec div. About 2%. If they are not bought before.
