Allied Capital will pay a regular quarterly dividend of $0.720 on Dec 27th if you own the stock at market opening on Wednesday, December 12 (taxed as earning dividend). That’s 2.9% of the share price of $25.020, or a 12% annual yield. The dividend includes a 65c regular dividend, plus a 7c one-time dividend stemming from 2006 spillover taxable income.
