PCU ex-dividend on 2/9 (2.6%)
Southern Copper will pay a regular quarterly dividend of $1.70 on March 2 to holders as of Friday, February 9. That’s 2.6% of the share price of $65.100, or a 10% annual yield. PCU pays constently high yield dividends, but Copper prices are in a downtrend right now with production rising globally since mid 2006. Stock prices for major copper producers retreated sharply following May’s peak copper prices, but PCU is still close to its all-time high. Be cautious.
