Sun Communities, a residential REIT, will pay a regular quarterly dividend of $0.63 to holders as of Wednesday, July 11. That’s 2.0% of the share price of $30.800, or a 8% annual yield. Their strategy of converting the renters at its communities to buyers upon the completion of the leases is cushioning SUI from the housing slowdown. Sun expects weighted average site rental to increase 3.4 percent and weighted average rental increases in the home rental program of 3 percent.
